As a counsellor it is ethical for a counsellor to be with a professional body. This is to ensure that we are adhering to the rules and regulations that is expected of all counsellors. It also shows we are working in the best interest of you as our clients.
I am a very hard working counsellor, I am very passionate in helping people like yourselves get the right help that they need. I do have the years of teaching to make me a counsellor; however, my biggest teaching is life experience. This has given me a natural and authentic ability to be able walk along side you on your journey.
I have a DipHe in Humanistic Gestalt Counselling. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use a person centered, which really just means I can adapt to what it is you are going through. Pulling on my resources to help you in the way that best suits you, and what you are going through as an individual.
I have a warm presence, enabling you to feel comfortable, this helps you to be able to relax and talk freely and comfortably.
I aim to make your experience of counselling as relaxed and an experience that you will look back on and feel it was the best thing you that you did. Taking away any presumptions or preconceptions of what you may have once thought about counselling.
